Technical Information
Backstop NTX is a high-performance, non-cementitious, polymer-based air barrier and water-resistive membrane designed for vertical above-grade exterior walls. It is used with Dryvit EIFS and other cladding systems to provide air and moisture protection while allowing vapor transmission. Available in textured and smooth formulations, Backstop NTX can be applied by trowel, roller, texture spray, or airless spray depending on the version, making it a versatile option for EIFS, stucco, and building envelope applications.
