Technical Information
Primus is a 100% acrylic-modified adhesive and base coat designed for field mixing with Portland cement. It is used in Dryvit EIFS systems to adhere insulation board to approved substrates and embed reinforcing mesh as part of the reinforced base coat layer. Primus can also be applied as a skim coat to create a smoother, more level surface over masonry or concrete, making it useful for EIFS, stucco, and exterior wall resurfacing applications.
